Shopping
Shopping at partsunknown.com is easy. As you browse our site, you may place items in a virtual shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button below the product picture. Click on the "Details" button if you would like to see more information on the product, such as a detailed description, larger photo, and coordinating items. In the event that the item is out of stock, we will backorder the item for you. This means we will keep the order on your record and it will be sent to you without any additional shipping charges when it becomes available. All backorder items are shipped via UPS Ground. We will not charge your credit card until we are ready to ship your order.

Shopping Cart Functionality 
  • To adjust the quantity, simply enter the new quantity over the old quantity and click the "Recalculate" button. 
  • To delete an item from your Cart, simply click the trash can icon next to the Qty. box for that item. 
  • The subtotal for the items you have selected is listed below the list in your cart.
  • For a Shipping Quote enter your zip code and country and click the "Shipping Quote" button.
  • To continue shopping, click the "Back to Shopping" button or select the product category that you want to see. 
  • To view your cart or check out, click the "View Cart" or "Buy" links at the top of the page. 
  • Cart Summary: There is a Cart summary located at the top of every page. With a quick glance you can see how many items you have in your cart and your subtotal. You can also click the "Edit" link from there to view your Cart, and the "Buy Now" link to check out.
Checking Out 
  • You will be asked to log in or register on the website. If you were emailed a username and password from partsunknown.com you would enter it here.  
  • Follow the steps for checking out. 
My Account
Click on the "My Account" button located at the top of your page to check the status of your order, change your password, and update your registration info.
 
Coupon
Partsunknown.com's coupons/points are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable. Partsunknown.com's coupons/points are valid for online purchases only. All requirements must be met to receive coupon rewards or discounts. Only one coupon may be used per order. To use your coupon, at check out enter your code in the box below the shipping options. If you have a balance remaining on your coupon it will remain available until it has reached its expiration date.
 
Wish List
A "Wish List" is a list of items that you may want to come back to buy at a later time, or you may email this list to a friend so they may buy you something from it.
 
To add an item to your wanted list click the "Add to Wish List" button located on the details page for that item.
To view your wanted list click the "My Wish List" button at the top of the page. From this page you can purchase your wish list items, email them to a friend, or delete items that you no longer want.
 
Email a Friend
This feature allows you to email a friend about an item. The "Email a Friend" button is located on the details page for each item.
 
Ask Customer Service
This feature allows you to ask Parts Unknown customer service questions about an item. The "Ask Customer Service" button is located on the details page for each item.
