Incorporating organic cotton into Aventura's business was the first step in their journey of sustainability. With the use of organically farmed cotton, they support avoiding the use of chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and genetic engineering. They are able to track their organic cotton from the farm to their factories to ensure they are always working to reduce their eco footprint.
Recycled polyester is made of PET, commonly found in clear plastic water bottles. Recycling this material into fabrics prevents it from going into landfills.

Fair Trade is the easiest way to do the most good every day.

Aventura is proud to work with Fair Trade USA, a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable livelihoods for farmers and workers; protects fragile ecosystems; and builds strong, transparent supply chains through independent, third-party certification.

Fair Trade Certified factories must adhere to rigorous social, environmental and economic standards to protect the health and safety of the workforce.

For every Fair Trade Certified product sold, Aventura pays an additional premium directly back to the workers who make their clothes. Collectively, they vote on how to spend the funds on projects that address local needs so that their families and children can thrive for generations to come.
